Mariana Brady Shively is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in children and adolescents. Mariana has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals and groups in the following areas: anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral and discipline challenges, self-harm, family and relationship conflict, suicide assessment, and risk reduction, as well as self-image and self-esteem. She utilizes various techniques and skills from multiple therapeutic modalities, including Child-Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, CBT, Solution Focused, mindfulness, and relaxation.

Mariana is a Registered Play Therapist with extensive training in play therapy. Through play therapy she provides a safe relationship where individuals can explore their inner thoughts and feelings in the universal language of play. Mariana’s approach to counseling is to develop collaborative relationships between patients and their caregivers, utilizing their strengths to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
