Karen Garcia is an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) specializing in mental health services. Karen holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a certified master’s in addiction counselor (CMAC), Certified Georgia Commission Family Violence Facilitator (CGCFV), and Certified Risk Reduction Specialist Instructor by the Georgia Department of Driving Services (DDS). Karen utilizes person-centered and evidence-based approaches in her therapeutic intervention. She has experience working in various settings, including inpatient, private practice, and outpatient settings. Karen has knowledge and experience in working with children, adolescents, and young adults treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and substance abuse disorders.
