Erin Brown is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgia Highlands Medical Services, with a rich educational background and extensive clinical expertise. Her dedication to patient care and her commitment to nursing excellence make her an exceptional member of our healthcare team.

Erin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at East Carolina University, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to nursing education. She continued her academic journey, achieving a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Health Systems Leadership, alongside a Doctoral Fellowship from the VA Quality Scholars (VAQS) program at the Atlanta VA Health Care System.

Erin speaks Spanish and English, enhancing her ability to provide patient-centered care to a diverse community. Her linguistic skills foster effective communication and cultural sensitivity.

Prior to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Erin worked as a Registered Nurse at prestigious institutions such as Northside Hospital, Duke University Hospital, and WakeMed Hospital. Her valuable clinical experience has contributed to her well-rounded approach to patient care, encouraging them to be partners in their care.

Erin’s leadership and dedication have not gone unnoticed. She was nominated by faculty, staff, and students for the Excellence in Leadership Award during her time at Emory University, highlighting her exceptional contributions to the community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Erin enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her commitment to community and personal well-being. She is passionate about volunteering in underserved and faith-based communities, spending quality time with family and friends, hiking, and exploring new destinations through travel.
