L. Carina Covarrubias, MSW, LMSW, is a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia in May 2023. Her clinical experience includes work in private practice settings, as well as internships in hospice care and a private counseling center.
Carina specializes in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, geriatric concerns, and challenges faced by first-generation students. She is dedicated to helping individuals build healthy coping skills and manage their symptoms effectively.
With a strong commitment to culturally responsive care, Carina approaches each client through the lens of cultural identity and social context. She demonstrates a high level of self-awareness and is skilled in working with individuals, groups, and communities from diverse backgrounds and life experience.
